This is the Ibanez S100SPL Hoshino Gakki 100th Anniversary guitar. Only 15 of these are being made, and they're not cheap. And although normally I'm a massive Ibanez fanboy, this one... well this doesn't really do it for me.According to Five Star Music, who have the only one in Australia (and for a mere AUD$16,995 it can be yours):
- Body made of Camphor tree with beautiful burl
- Wood bound neck with the firework inlays at 5th and 12th fret
- Special flight case included
- Small flakes of silver fitted on the S body composing a mosaic-like art
- The motif expressing a fireworks to celebrate 100years

Sounds like a lot of money for an S series with a custom paint job?! Even the woods used don't make this worth the money!
Yeah, the only way to justify that price is if it makes you a latte, pushes up the guitar fader on the mixing desk via bluetooth whenever you take a solo, and gives you a cuddle when you have a nightmare.
